Emily Turkington called into our shop today: The Equestrian Store on the Mahon Road, Portadown (Northern Ireland).
We got chatting about last weekends results and upcoming training and events:
The Meadows Balmoral Qualifier –
Virma –> first show out not good, 12 faults, meant to jump her in 1.20 first but it was on after and then clashed with 1.30 qualifier
Vincent –> First fence of in qualifier, however happy with rest of round
Valentino D –> clear in first round and qualified for 1.30 as he was 2nd
Allihies Diamond Boy –> clear and 3rd, also qualified
I had to choose between Wanik, Allihes Diamond boy and Valentino D for Balmoral as I was only allowed to take 2. I choose valentino d and Wanik.. as thankfully I got Allihes Diamond Boy through to the internationals for Balmoral.
Tomorrow Thursday, I go training with my 4 top horses to Cian O’Connor to get a school before Cavan 2 day show this weekend.
As Wales and West is close and I must have horses on full tune.
Thanks again Emily for the update.
